Industrial & Shippers Supply was recently recognized for its support of the Kingwood High School cheerleaders. Pictured above are varsity 2014-2015 cheerleaders with their sign of sponsor appreciation. Donations were made in support of the cheerleaders for their annual community cheer clinic.
The Varsity cheer squad from KHS organized and put on a cheer clinic for children, ranging in age of three to thirteen earlier this semester.
The clinic is an annual event to encourage participation and support for area cheer leading sports.
The event was a great success, providing kids with a positive outlet of team spirit and physical fitness. The weekend event provided young and emerging cheer leaders an opportunity to learn organized stunt routines, tumbling moves, team building and team spirit from the KHS cheer leaders.
A KHS cheer mom was quoted as saying; “we are so thankful to our sponsors for their support”; “all the kids, KHS cheer leaders and volunteers had a great weekend, thank you”.
